Pledges

A Promised Gift

Pledges are a promise to donate a certain amount within a set period of time. This promise exemplifies the good intentions of a donor who is ready to support the students and faculty of the College of Natural Sciences. By making a pledge, a donor is demonstrating both trust and confidence in the future of the College.

A Flexible Gift

Unlike any other type of gift, a pledge can be modified or even cancelled to accomodate the intent of the donor. If a donor feels that a certain goal may be difficult to meet, they can extend the amount of time or decrease the promised amount of a pledge.

Most donors, however, find that supporting the College is extremely beneficial. To these donors, a pledge may be increased in both the amount of monetary support and the time period in which the donation is paid. Changes to a pledge may be accomplished at any time through written notice to the Office of Development.
